WATKINS HORNETS YOUTH ASSOCIATION

     The Watkins Hornets Youth Association (WHYA) located in the heart of Capitol Hill is a community based youth organization that introduces children to a positive sports program that  creates a positive atmosphere fostering academic, athletic, and social growth. The WHYA is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization supported by the WHYA Board, coaching staff, dedicated parents and the local community and businesses. The WHYA’s largest supporter is A. Wash & Associates, Inc. The community believes the WHYA is a strong pillar creating a difference in the minds and stability of local youth. The coaching staff is comprised of exceptionally dedicated and committed men and women. These volunteers are passionate about the success of our youth both academically and athletically. Our supporters understand the WHYA mission to build up courage, confidence and self-esteem so NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR OUR YOUTH.

     Your monetary support is needed. A financial contribution will help support the association’s daily academic and athletic programs for over 200 student athletes. It is critical that our children are provided on a daily basis with the proper environment and necessary tools to empower them to reach their full potential.
